A swan doing graceful contortions. With the feathers and graceful neck she looked like a ballarina in practice.

Annetta, thats a great shot! A swan is perhaps one of the most beautiful birds and you managed to capture its beauty in this photo. It works nice with black and white color. Unusual perspective of a swan. The wing is shows so well and being in the center of the photo...and so sharp photo! amasing!

I did a little workshop with the cropping, I hope you like it. Good catch, but cropping really makes the bird stand out!

Great shot Annetta. Nice composition, scene, beautiful bw tones. Well captured...

I love this swan with her wings expanded! It reminds me of a Vegas feather dancer! (No, I've never seen one in person! :)) This is a different view of a swan - we usually see them floating peacefully on the water. This one has a little more spirit! :)

So, let's start with this one.
Great subject - always - particularly when they are doing something unusual.
The quality of the image is fine but this can be turned into a better-presentation with a few simple moves.
Essentially, the core subject is cntred in the frame. That is not a life or death problem but our brains really do prefer to see objects off-centre.
There are a number of distractions contained. Some could be removed in pp, even by a simple crop. Others by clone stamping.
BW is perfectly good for the subject except if this was a male, where the orange of the beak would be a little boost. I'm not sure whether I have an WS allocation left right now but I will have a fiddle with this and see if I can't make it jump a bit. If you don't see a WS now, it will appear later.

Oooops, I see that someone has already done a WS. I'll look at that and see whether I can go any better or not.

I love this!

A very nice momment, very good frame.
Really great image.
I have also swans in my gallery not so in great momment.
Thanks
