I like this simple shape and colour, though I would have cropped off the curves at the bottom by cropping right and left to just inside where the curve starts. At first I thought the photo was of a bird's egg. I also like the pattern of the light wispy clouds swirling in the blue sky.

Welcome to TL Victor. It was quite a strange looking thumbnail, so I went to have a look. Your note makes this quite interesting. I have never seen a skylight quite like this. I agree with Joan though. You could crop a bit and also try to increase saturation or equalize to make the sky more striking. IMHO, there is a little too much grey around it. You could probably also rotate about 2 degrees CCW - that would balance it out since the lines are so simple and it is tilting a bit to the right. Otherwise very interesting.
When I saw the thumbnail I thougt it was a picture of a toilet bowl. LOL. I really like the simplicity of it and especially the smoothness of it.
Simple, yet striking composition. Nice idea.
