These mountains have been the backdrop of my life. They are the steepest for the base, in the world.
This green is very unusual in my area, very little time of the year. |

Annetta,
What a place to call home! It's picturesque in every direction you look. I like the detail of the snow on the mountains.
I live in Illinois, The Prarie State!
Good green capture, I like it!
Scott
A good contrast between what is evidently still winter and what is showing as spring in the foreground. Good colour rendition and all three levels are clearly sharp.
The pile of ... something in the lower LH may be ugly but it does add something to the composition. Just a pity that it couldn't have been something 'nice' to look at? In fact, without it, the image would fall a few levels ;)
Lucky you! Strength and power to be found in these mountains...
Beautiful photo, Annetta!
Gayle :)
