I'm really nervous about posting this! :O

Kit gave me the challenge of doing something interesting with an onion. I tried a few things before I tried this...then I went back and rearanged and retook this idea three times.

This is just a half of onion taken apart and kinda made to look like flowers. More female type pic I'm afraid. I did various PP on it.

Help people, and especially Kit. I don't think this is what you were looking for!

Hi Annetta,
Don't be nervous....this bought tears to my eyes ;)
Good detail, colours and sharpness. exposure and lighting are good. Good POV and framing.

Thanks for posting, have a great weekend.

Don't mind, your idea is probably the best you could have! An oinion as a flower...you have a lot of imagination! :-)

Couldn't break away from the 'flower syndrome' BUT there are the signs of some thought and there is clear evidence of some creativity behind it. The seeds of imagination are sprouting and the result is not half so important as the initial step of the journey.
Having said that, the arrangement is visually pleasing and so we can count this as a success.
Still want an assignment? Part 2?
Try any door or part of a door in your house - but not a sign of a flower anywhere, OK? Gotta break the flower fixation ;)

All of a sudden you're coming up with vivid colors, Annetta! Good! Good work with the lighting! This is creative - I've never seen an onion tulip before, and here are three of them.

Mr. Florendo is working his usual magic, I think! But you're the one doing the work... ;)

Gayle
