Puzzlement by the river

As we walked down by the river, we spotted a family of strange birds I hads never seen before. We watched from a distance, they were good fishers with those long beaks. There are no penguins around here! Obviously they weren't equipted to fly, but boy could they swim. We discovered this as they were startled.
Then we saw what startled them...

See - 54 visitors and no-one stopped by. There's something not quite right here .......
Good composition!!! Three subjects - correct! Good diagonal line - just right. Soft to me but then quite a few are. You on a laptop or using a LCD screen PC?
