[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was taken on Gull Lake just outside of Brainerd MN. A beautiful sunset overhead, I've applied my Telephoto here to focus in on the weeds growing in the water. This turned out kind of abstract but i thought the effect was pleasing. I have more from this great evening in my porfolio over on TE. Thoughts?

Critiques [Translate]

I agree and if the reeds at the bottom was not there and it was turned on it's side it would make a fantastic abstract picture, a lovely image to play around with. look forward to the rest.

This image is very peaceful and calm...the color is exquisite, and the texture of the weeds and their shadows is beautifully natural. Well done!

It's hard to see the beginning and the end... It seems that the weeds are just all over, and I love that effect. The colors are great, and the light is just perfect. Excellent shot!

Really nice shot, Kirk. It is very striking in its stark composition. The color is stunning, too. I would recommend cropping the reeds from the bottom right to improve the composition, though.
