Forest for the Trees
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
After seeing Milko Chua's (milko_shoots) photo I wanted to try the "recipe" to try and duplicate the photo style. I didn't have any skyline photos so thought I'd give it a try with this burnt tree line photo just to see if I could do the effect.
It reminded me of a log looking at the end so I thought of the expression "You can't see the forest for the trees" in this case the "tree".
Photo: From "the recipe"
- crop and retouch to make left and right border fit
- Rotate by 180°
- Rescale into a square image
- "Polar" Filter in PhotoShop
- more post processing to hide the stitch borders
- add frames |

Bonjour Lori
A tiny planet as described in Saint-Exupéry novel "Le Petit Prince"!
Quite an eye catching effect!
I should practice such a tranformation!
Congratulations.
