My sweet grandma making me some espresso. Wish I didn't use such a shallow DOF so you could see the espresso pot in the foreground better.

Taken with my Yashica Electro rangefinder and Kodak Tmax 400 film @ f/1.7

hi I like this
super!
andzia

I realy like this as a portrait. You seem to have captured a personality. She looks like she is trying to hold back a grin. I personaly think the DOF is perfect because the grandmother is more important than the espresso and much more interesting. The only issue i have is the bowl over her head needs burning in, unless you can come up with a clever reason to have a glowing bowl over you grandmothers head.

get in the kitchen WOMAN! oh wait she already is.

good shot candyboy

Hey! Nice to see you back again. I remember the last photo of your Grandma cooking a meal for you. Now, here she is making some expresso. I recognized her straight away. I agree about the F-stop, but as long as she is visiting, there's many more opportunities. I just love this shot because of the angle. Good choice for black and work... your famous Lab Mode method, no doubt.

Good to see you again, JP! Nice portrait of your grandma; she seems to be saying "what are you doing?". Love the natural light, well captured. Good composition, no worries about the coffee pot. Well done!

Muy bien el blanco y negro, la composición, la profundidad de campo y la expresión de la señora muy bien.
Felicitaciones.
Saludos.

Hi JP
Nery nice B&W portrait. Compiments
Aga

you know I like this shot! You on TL much anymore? I've been on a couple days in a row now. Weird place to come back to, everyone's all nice and "pretty picture" to everyone instead of actually critiquing!

Hi JP,
Nice picture and like it much
Regards

Hi JP,
Very nice portrait, Bravo.

Steph.
