Washington State is well known as the largest Apple producing state in USA. Less known is that Washington is the largest cherry producing state of the USA as well.
This particular cherry orchard is in Naches Washington and these cherries still needed a couple more weeks to ripen before being picked.
There are several fruit stands west of the Yakima Valley off of US HWY 12 where travelors can stop and buy a variety of locally grown fruits and produce.
God's best,
Tim |

Hi Tim,
Very sharp and neat image. Great details. Nicely captured, but can be improved in composition. Nice shot.

Hi Tim, what a lot of fruit on the tree. Excellent colours and sharpness. Taste - looks like they'll taste great too, if you can wait a few more weeks. They are very red; much redder than those we have growing here in NZ.
Well shown,
Janice
This is a beautiful photo Tim, I love the bold colors of red, green and blue. I didn't know that the cherries grew so thick on the branches. TFS
