[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An experiment with color, from a recent photograph of a crumbling swingset, taken in front of the abandoned school building in Flaxton, North Dakota.

It gives me the feeling of those nightmares I sometimes get about childhood; of being in a world from long ago that is eerily different from what I remember. I always wake up from those dreams with a strange feeling that never quite goes away, and a loss for any kind of words to describe it.

The post-processing was a blind mixture of color filters, saturation, levels, channel adjustments, and layering. Like a science project gone mad. I hope you enjoy.

i love the colors... this reminds me of a creepy nightmare scene that could have been in one of the nightmare on elm st. flicks...the colors are very eerie to me but beautiful at the same time...mad sciences projects are always the best kind...nice work...peace***
