Not a big fan of duck shots… but this one I like because of the reflections.
Minimal PP done, just contrast mask and a bit sharpening.

Well composed shot Efi! I love the reflection of the cloud and the blue sky, with the duck in it as the main eye catcher! You have placed neatly at thirds. Well done!

Perhaps a bit extra light on the duck, will make it stand out a little more?

It escapes me how this shot has missed being noticed. I only found it because I wanted to check out pics form Portland, OR, where I spent a student year in 1991-1992. How come it's only two points? Don't people have eyes? ;)

The colors and the smooth rippling quality of the water are beautiful and rich in texture. It is very interesting how the reflection of the duck's head almost completes the duck; only at second look did I realize that the duck had his/her own head as well. This also adds to the appeal of the pic. And: excellent composition! Should be taught in school. (Here's a sketch to my that point.)

It's the all-too-well-known "I wish I had taken it..." effect for me.

:)

Congrats! Goes to favorites for its sheer, cool beauty.
