[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a picture taken just before the switchbacks that lead to Ptarmigan Tunnel. That is Ptarmigan Lake. We had hiked from the furthest valley in the V of the mountains. Yes, the Lookout has spied something. Stay tuned... : )

It was a very bright afternoon and I compensated by 1 1/3. It might have been a little bit too much but I didn't have any filters then.

great! I like the idea to show the view and the viewer :) congrats., Ola

very nice persepctive..

Beautiful picture, Evelynn. My dad lives in Montana near Helena, so I know the state fairly well. Nicely done picture.

Very pretty scene & good leading lines of comp. Nicely done.

Hi Evelynn,
This very nice shot remembers me a the good time I spend in the USA especially in Washington state. Although the person on the picture looks in whit he binoculars in the distance he should look right before his feet! The colourful flowers are magnificent that makes this photo interesting! TFS.

Hi Evelynn,
Really nice composition here, with the person in the corner looking into the rest of the shot. Well saturated colours too.
Great stuff,
Jako

It's almost the Marlboro Man ! :-) Well done on this landscape shot, it's well composed, it has a great atmosphere and the technique is spot on. Thanks Evelynn.

Mario

Hi Evelynn,
I like wat Mario wrote, The Marlboro man! I also like this photo, the way you positioned Jerry in the shot is really good. As if we see what he saw. This looks like a great place to sit down and relax for a while. Great colors and a beautiful view.
TFS,
Niek

Nicely done, Evelynn. I like the subject and composition a lot. I think you underexposed by a reasonable amount, and you might try the technique I applied on this shot.
Mike

Hello Evelynn,
Very well composed image!
Point of view is fine and lets us enjoy this pleasant scenery...
I like the lines and in particular the winding track to take me deep into the landscape!
Greetings,
Pablo -

A magnificient view has been composed in fine details, well saturated colors and in high contrast. Viewing sight of the man sitting on this trail is looking interesting. Well done Evelynn.

Thanks for sharing a magnificient image.
