[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Fireweed is a wildflower that grows rampant across Alaska. It is so named because it is the first thing to regrow after a fire. I didn't see any fires in Alaska, but I did see tons of fireweed. It was hard to photograph because the flash kept on washing it out, so I took this picture at twilight and then fixed the contrast in Photoshop.

I love the DOF you have used here, adss so much eye pleasure, welldone.

The twilight gives a nice ambient colour and there is a good play of dof, but the white in the background is too distracting to give full marks.

beautiful picture with great composition. The colors captured are awesome and its pleasure watching this picture. Great work
