I usually snap one of these off to ID a roll of film or a series of shots. You've elevated this to a higher art form. Really well composed, with a great sky behind. Having followed your posts I think you're showing off the difference of shooting in RAW, and layering different exposure regions in JPG. Whatever the technique it is really exquisite, and shows up much better than traditional JPG. Thanks for the inspiration, and I know you will share your technique in later posts!

P.S. The colors all look amazing to me, but the Glacier signs I have seen, like those in most NPs are usually brown. But perhaps this was newly painted or their new look.

Hi Niek,
This is not our most famous National Park, but it is one of my favorites. You probably did have to wait to get a clean shot. I would bet it was pretty crowded in July. The parks are getting loved to much!
I believe we talked about this, but the most beautiful drive I have ever taken is the "Going To The Sun" road. Your CP flter did a great job with the sky here. Colors, detail, and DOF all rock!

Wow Niek!! De skills die je met deze foto geleerd hebt in PS, wil ik graaaag ook leren! Vind het contrast in deze foto heel goed, de boom lijkt bijna naar je toe te komen - bijna 3D!
