[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
During our visit to Glacier Park, we had the luck to visit the Blackfoot Pow Wow. This was taken on the first day during the inauguration. The next couple of photos will all be about the Blackfoot Pow Wow. More information about the Blackfoot people and this Pow Wow will be given throughout this series.

Lovely colours and great side on pose. The background hasn't done you any favours with the brown post and the blue container distracting from the girls face - I've cloned out in a workshop (hope you don't mind) to see if it makes any difference.
Thanks for sharing
Mark

Hi Niek,
I like the great colors and the details you've capture for these beautiful costumes they are wearing. The DOF is excellent and make them stand out. Very well done.
Luc

It's interesting to see native people wearing such non traditional colors and walking on Astroturf! I always enjoy cultural blending. I'm looking forward to the series. You do so well with portraits and such. I liked Mark's workshop also. So often I don't see something until it's posted!

The fall colors are at their peak at Mount Rainier so we are going there for a few days. I still have dozens of pictures to sort through and edit from the last trip and now there will be more. I guess I need something to do this winter. Jerry has decided that he wants to learn to take photos too! This is going to be interesting. He really got into that wildlife photography.
