[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I've always wanted to attempt photographing a crowd of people watching fireworks, but for some reason I'm always distracted by the giant glowing explosions and I shoot them instead! So, this year I FINALLY did it!
I was at a Chicago White Sox game in Chicago (but I am a Cubs fan, just want to make that clear..haha) back in July of this year.

After the game, there was a fireworks display. It was completely dark, except for the stadium lights in the background...I lucked out and caught this right when a huge white firework lit the sky, and my scene, creating this beautiful ambiant light :)

I like the one guy smiling, sort of in the middle...I'm pretty sure he didn't see me since it was so dark most of the time.

Hey Stacey, Long time ...
I like it. The exposure throughout is great.
You caught the moment perfectly.
Peace
Matt

Neat shot Stacey. Everyone looking up but I really like the background. The infield is covered and all the stadium lights. And yes I see the resemblances. I also like the dude in the middle background he's got a big smile on his face, he is enjoying the show.
Good one!!
Cheers

Hi Stacey,
look their expression!! And no one looked at the camera. I love that. Great DoF that I can see the clear beautiful BG. TfS,
Ratna

And what superb results! Great facial expressions and considering this was at night, you've done well with the lighting. Very soft and a great capture of a moment that everyone is clearly in awe with. Great background too.

An expression has been captured in this frame nicely. Good composition in the less amount of light. An interesting point of view is adding more charm in this picture. Well done Stacey.

Thanks for sharing the excitment of people.
