Can you sense the mood here? We had just been hiking in the sweltering August sun for about 1½ hours on the Anne Springs Close Greenway, near Fort Mill, South Carolina, when lo and behold! we found this creamery which makes its own ice cream... yes!
What a welcome reprieve from the ardour of our physical exertion. And this was just the halfway point!!! The hike back after this delightful intermezzo of the creamy kind was a "breeze"...
Just had my new digital camera a couple months when I took this. Should probably have squatted down to avoid the flash reflection in the picture on the wall, but was just eager to get working on my peach ice cream, which can be seen melting on the table in the foreground!
No filters, no tripod, no pp, no cropping, just resized. Six hikers... seven, including myself. |
