These Redcoats are about to do battle in the quest for glory. Unfortunately they are part of what will be Huck's Defeat in which they got a right royal seeing-to from the Patriot "rebels" as they were wont to address them...
This is a tableau in time. They are entirely immersed in the moment. This is not just role playing - these guys are serious about re-living the moment exactly as it was all those years ago when this battle took place in the heat of sub-tropical South Carolina.
Had to be quick to catch them on film as they were not standing still for this shot. No filters, tripods. No flash. Resized and cropped at bit, but no other pp work. Three soldiers. |
