| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Down by the river Potomac, the ferryman waits for the arrival of his next ship. On a Sultry summer's day he bides his time as his vessel takes its time...
His tilted had shades his face and the loneliness of the jetty is no matter to him, for this is his daily life. He likes it well.
On the shores of the Potomac River, below George Washington's property of Mount Vernon, this is the ferry quai for the daily soujourners who trips up the river are an attempt to beat the sweltering heat of the season.
No flash (maybe I should have backfilled?). No tripod or filters. Cropped and re-sized considerably. No pp work. One ferryman. |
