Very nicely captured, Karen. I like your composition and the trees in silhouette. I think I would have put the bird a little bit more in the rule of third as right it is a little too much toward the centre but that is just my opinion. Otherwise, nice sunset colours. Well done!

Great capture of the sun rays AND the raptor!
I think you did well making a composite out of this photo. I wonder who read your notes about the composite....and who didn't. You can kind of tell by reading the critiques. :)
You are really catching with your PP work.

WOW! What a great sunset! The rays protruding and shoot up from behind the trees! Rich and dramatic colors of the sky is excellent and to top it up, a nice moment of a bird in flight. Reminds me of.. the majesty and the awesomeness of Heaven! Wow..
Excellent, i would give more than a smiley for this. :)

I love how you captured the streams of sunrays coming through the clouds. I like how you were able to even capture the bird, even if it is one of the plentifull turkey buzzards around in Maryland.

Brilliant visual impact here, Karen.
Again lovely contrast with the silhouettes at the bottom. The lone bird soaring gracefully against a spectacular backdrop of sky adds a very special touch!

Good capture with a great balance of elements. The clouds are rhyming quite good with the forest and so does the bird. Would have liked a lot to see some more blue tones coming in here as well to make the image more dynamic. Well done, however!

Beautiful image of the sunset. I like the warm tone of the sky and the silhouettes.
Sunsets are the most common type of photo, so the foreground silhouette is what usually makes a sunset unique, and you've succeeded in this one. Good idea and great composition.

Hi Karen,
Just had to give my 2 cents on this one as I find this VERY beautiful! I have not yet been able to get a good photo of sun rays. The colors here are very nice, and the pasted in bird is icing on the cake, and very well placed. Very nice shot Karen. More proof of Gods wonderful painting skills:)
