I grew up in this small university town... and this depicts a typical "daily life" scenario here...

While his student owner takes a study break inside the restaurant bar, this dog waits patiently by the front door, enjoying a nap in the shade. The waitress serves a martini to her human patron, and a bowl of fresh water to her canine one!

Nice pose you captured here, Jen. Hope you didn't wake him up though, he still has a sleepy look ;o).
The Smirnoff add behind it is a nice touch. Colours are excellent even though lighting conditions differ in this shot. Well done and thanks for sharing!

This is a very good funny shot. Really looks as if the dog had a bottle of Smirnoff. And it's sharp clear and colorful and concentrates entirely on those two elements. That's photography.
