| I took this picture in August last year while browsing through an Antique Fair in Martinez, California. Martinez is the County Center of Contra Costa. It is located along the Sacramento-San Joaquin River. This ceramic piece reminded me of the old ladies in southern Florida when I was assigned there 1973. They are usually sitting on the terrace of an apartment, drinking, all dressed up and their faces all made-up. |
