Portola State Park doesn't just have huge sky scraping redwoods it also has a small waterfall that during a warm day is a cool destination after a good hike. Unfortunately, I didn't have my tripod with me so my backpack had to answer the call and I think it did okay.

excellent comp and POV here mike :)
love the colors and clarity
very nice silky water from the slow shutter :)

Unbelievable shot! I like the smoothing of the colors and the waters. Way to get small! I assum you got really wet making this shot. It looks as though you laid down in the water to get it!
Nice!

Mike,
I think you've captured this beautifully, and all without a tripod! Excellent detail, lighting and POV. The entire composition of the shot is what is really the key to this one for me. Well done!
Regards, Todd

Hi Mike,

Perfect shutter speed. I like how you used just enough exposure to soften the water and captured such great colors on the plants without any blowout of the light colors. Great shot,

Darren

Hi Mike, great shot again. The water looks very good. Nice pov and dof. The reds in the rocks came out real good, too, and look realistic.

Hi Mike
Very good shot. The low POV is good. You have captured detail under the water and nice movement in the waterfall. Well done.

Encantador paraje Mike. Me gusta mucho. El agua como un cristal y el efecto de la cascada delicioso. Saludos amigo, JL.
