Mountain Of Gold
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Mountain of Gold, this is Whiteface Mountain, home of the ski events in the 1932 and 1980 winter Olympic Games. The mountain is also the annual venue for several ski competitions. As you can also see, the mountain takes a gold colour in fall. The ski center has the highest vertical drop of the north east with 3430 feet (1045m).
