[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After I uploaded this I saw that it has a lot of noise in it. So I posted a WS of it after I ran it through NeatImage.
This is one of the shots I took yesterday. My daughter and I went out to see what we could find. We found a whole lot of frost frozen trees, and fog. So when we were walking back to my jeep I was excited to see some blue sky!! Something we haven't seen a whole lot of lately.
I like the way the trees look with the frost all over them, with the dark inner parts showing through. I also like the warm colors of the weeds next to the darker trees. I felt that the blue sky really gave the shot a little extra pop.
PP was lightening in levels, not much light on overcast days, sharpen edges, and resizing for TL.
Feedback is always welcome and appreciated.

Critiques [Translate]

This is a beautiful winter view. I see some noise in the sky which can easily be removed with www.neatimage.com (free download).

I agree with you on the colors! Its a very nice picture! Something you might be interested to try- increase the saturation and possibly play with the hue of the yellow colors*. It should make those weeds more vibrant while leaving the trees unchanged. Good job! I always enjoy winter photography.

The shadow in the left part is not proper for this image..

This is my opinion..
Try further to observe every detail that compose the whole image..

Hi Dayna,
Great composition, the eye is led through the image by the bushes nicely. I looked at the WS version, much better noise wise too. Try shooting with the lowest iso and use a tripod to make up for the low shutter speed. I think the noise may have come from an underexposed image with level tweaks that have brought out the noise in shadows and the sky?

Beautiful capture. The noise is easily fixable as you showed in the WS. The rest is very sharp anc clear. Love the snow in the trees.

Hi Dayna,
You just gotta luv Neat Image! A big improvement in the workshop version. Well composed winter landscape scene. I agree that the blue sky peeking thru makes this shot. The trees look great in the ice and frost coating.

I love this photo, the trees cover in frost, how beautiful. Lovely detail and the colors are wonderful. POV, sharpness and composition are lovely. Very nice workshop you did excellent getting the noise out of the sky.
