Welcome at TL.Great portrait love the softlook. The B/w are verry good. For the comp I would cut of 1 c from the top (just above her hair) and about 1.5 cm from the bottom. I think it brings more balance in the picture Sophia. Great jjob with your firts one here. Keep up the good work.

Hi, Sophia. Welcome. As others mentioned, that is just like a classic Hollywood still. Looks like Barbara Stanwyck. Would be great if you'd write an explanatory note about your photo. Best, Hugh

Welcome among us...photonutzes!
Well, for a first pic, that a Master shoot!
Congratulations!
Hope see more and more!

Hi Sophia

I like this classic reto portrait .. Maybe stronger shadows and cross lights .. like a still from a film noir frame would work well without the smile

Look forward to seeing more like this.

Best

Taylor

Great capture here Sophia!
The gray treatment looks really well here with good tonal ranges. I probably would show all of her hair! She looks happy and at ease.
Regards
David

Hello Sophia

Nice portrait with a look of the fifty. Your model has a nice smile.

Regards, Sylvain

excellent portrait shot sophia! love your style. agree with hitbit that it's worth considering cropping a bit from the top.
what's the secret of good portrait photography (besides a beautiful model...)
tfs!

I missed this one last time I came to your album. This is another portrait in the classic style. very well done.
I do not always like soft focus, but it works here. However, a little more sharpness and less grain would have enhanced the effect.
