Can che abbaia, non morde
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
An Italian statistician told us that "Can che abbaia, non morde," but out in the field, behind the berry bushes was a can che morde. Cave canem.
(Disclaimer. I posted this on TrekEarth a few months ago and didn't get a single bite, as it were. So, while I don't usually do this, I thought I'd try to repost it here and see if anyone had any opinions.) |

Buon giorno Hugh,
Adesso parliamo italiano, un po...
Mi piaciono tanto le rossi punti e i colori...ma il cane...non è troppo visibile...
Maybe is it intriguing thus, that blur and effort to guess where it is behind the vegetal curtain (makes me think to your bead curtain...)

Many of my posts that received no comment on TE, have got rave reviews on TL. No idea how it works.
This one is good too. A pattern that's more abstract than anything. I like the red spots.

hi Hugh,
I think that your skin is full of scars before the dog is there :)
I like the play with the depth of field.
greetings, inn
I guess the questions you asked about my Surge II photo apply here. What do you want to achieve in this photo?
What do you want to viewer to feel or think - or see? - upon viewing this - and is that feeling or thought sufficiently rewarding for them to enjoy or appreciate the photograph?
Questions that I have come to realise we as photographers must have clear answers to, before we post.

Hi Hugh, where is the dog? Where is the focus? a very strange composition but I like it, nice title with an italian statistician , very well done, ciao Silvio
