This is a very simple composition and I guess that's why I like it. I took it at 300mm with no tripod standing on the roof of our building so excuse the lack of sharpness.
The bird was flying solo and fast.. the title poped in my head right there and then.

Best Regards,
Skye

Hi Skye,
I would have liked to see the sun with more space on the right, however, I do like your composition a lot, as you say maybe because is so simple. I don't mind the lack of sharpness on this picture. Well done! Iris

I have a very similar capture..so that... is obvious that I like yours...althugh you cropped it very tight..
Rgds,
Carmem

the colors is excellent.. yeah, i agree the composition can be improved more space on the right hand side of the sun.. else, this is a very very nicephoto! tfs

Very interesting image really....

Sharpness is fine, it accentuate slight degree of movement so it is better then very sharp. not all pictures need to be sharp.

Excellent colour and composition. Well done.

keep posting.

The colours, the composition and the title made me think about Mohammad Hesamian :)
Ye, a bit more space on right and less on left would help.
The frame is well chosen imo.

regards,
anton

itīs simple but effective and you did well with shooting the bird on the left and letting him fly to the sun ;-) One suggestion maybe: the sun might be just a little too close to the frame.
DK

It might be lacking a bit of sharpness but You can't tell that much. I really like the warm tone created by the sun.

Icarus flew into the sun, and his wings of wax melted! Why does this make me think of him....

I love this one. It oozes relaxation :). Just what I need after a day of hard working ;)...calms me down! Great shot!

hi skye,
u are obviously right.a very simple compo and that's why so pretty.I liked it too;if u would have added a small tree branch for him to carry then it would have many other duties, taking the peace to the sun:-)
regards
