[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This place caught my eye when I was passing trough the town of Lincoln NH on the Kancamagus Highway.
The way the shadow of the fence played on the snow gave a opportunity for a nice composed picture. The trees leaning towards the trail also added to the composition as well for the leaves still remaining on the trees contrasting with the white snow.
The missed opportunity in my opinion is that since it was the shadow and the fence that caught my eye at the beginning, it should have been the main subject of the picture and be closer to the FG. The entrance of the picture is to long and distracting with the snow trail full of foot prints. A lesson well learned for the future, I hope.

Hi Patrick!
I love so much your composition and framing here. Very well captured. A different take of outdoor photography w/ darker colours at the top and lighter hues at the bottom. The whites composing the snow from the ground and on the fence and the reflection of light making an outline on the tree trunks plus the golden colours of the leaves make it a stunning picure. I'l put it in one of my faves! TFS!

Gee I see what you mean about the missed oppertunity as that would of been an awesome shot , but I do like this one as well..the country road covered with snow and all the fall leaves still on the trees along the lane...very pretty. the bridge shadows just give it an extra bonus...great shot patrick TFS
