| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I presented all my posters to the person in charge of the monitor this afternoon. This is one of the THREE she actually decided to use... Out of 20! I am not "excited" about that... Rather disappointed actually.
There are some great images... They look AMAZING on the screen... Nothing else is being run on them, and the current rotation only take about two minutes to run through... So why doesn't she smarten up? lol
Standard note for these shots:
The picture is what you see, there was no PP done to the shots themselves, save "Sharpen More." They were all taken in landscape and put on the canvas. Photoshop should be obvious (text and such).
As for the canvas. The monitor on which these will be displayed in a 20x36in widescreen monitor in landscape mode. The resolution of the monitor is 768x1024. Because of the distorted pixel ratio and aspect ratio, I must design the images on a 768x1364 pixel canvas (20.4x36.3in screen with an approximate pixel density of 37.65 pixels per inch [the highest density on the 20.4in length]). Doing this ensures that what I design is what you will see (after re-sampling and "squishing" the image).
Enjoy, and please, give me all the feedback you can.
[Note:]I am hosting all of the posters I create on SmugMug from this point on. If you are interested, you can find them here. |
