[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)

A multitude of little paratroopers blowing in the wind.

The seeds, attached to the hair like wings(parachutes), are blown free by the wind and can travel for great distances. The leaves are edible and known as Dandelion Greens. Even as an Ol' East Texas boy I have never eaten Dandelion Greens. Turnip, Mustard and Collard Greens along with Polk Salad, yes, but never Dandelion Greens.

hi jim,
great macro shot you've got here. although i must say the green is abit too saturated, like it isnt realistic anymore. cropping is just right. thanks for sharing!
cheers!
