Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias)
Galveston Island is home to a large and diverse population of beautiful and majestic birds and waterfowl. The Great Blue Heron is just one example of the Island's many permanent and migratory avian residents. |

Hi Jim, nice capture of the bird in flight! Nicely cropped and great pov. Tiny bit of noise, but I'm assuming a higher ISO is why and can't be helped. TFS.
Hi Jim
Herons are fantastic birds - amazing and huge wingspans and you've captured it really well with your POV.
I got a shot of a Grey Heron catching a fish the other day but it shoock its head about so much when trying to swallow it that the shot was blurred. Very frustrating, maybe next time.
Well done & TFS
Sandy
