Robin on Stone
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| I was about to post a photo from a trip to a bird refuge yesterday. Then when I opened my side garage door spotted this robin sitting on an old honing stone in my neighbors flower bed. I was hoping he would stay put till I got my camera! He did & posed for about 50 shots. All turned out underexposed from the cloudy rainy day it is here. This one looked the most promising so did some PP work. Adjusted levels, increased midtones in color curves, increased saturation by 30%,(this brought out the orange more), sharpened .5 radius (this showed more eye detail), used unsharp mask & framed all in PSE 5. I will post the original in a workshop. |

Hi Donald:
Very sharp and good exposures:)
David
Nice capture. Well done on the PP work, really brought out the colors.
Good sharpness and details.
The way he looks with his feathers all puffed up, I would say he more stoned :-).

Superb PP work Donald I had a look at your workshop and this image looks excellent. I didnt realise how different your Robins are to the ones we have here.
TFS regards Helen
Ohh Don
Cute! A golden moment to ' shoot' this Condor before he is 'passa' (*__*) A good shampoo is needed here I think, or the bird has a bad hair day *_*
Welldone! TFS
