Grieving Widow or Dearly Departed Wife
Old City Cemetery
Galveston, Texas
Many graves in the Old City Cemetery predate the Great 1900 Storm. A Cofederate soldier that was executed for deserertion in this cemetery still haunts the grounds to this very day. Nicaragua Smith can be heard on the night of every January 8th cursing the firing squad that shot and killed him.
