[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Have you heard that pansies have faces? I thought these pansies looked as if they were in disguise with bushy eyebrows, a big nose and beard. Maybe it's just me--what do you think?

The pansy gets its name from the French word pensée meaning "thought". It was so named because the flower resembles a human face and in August it nods forward as if deep in thought. The pansy has two top petals overlapping slightly, two side petals, beards where the three lower petals join the center of the flower, a single bottom petal with a slight indentation.

Cropped, resized, increased saturation and sharpened slightly.

Hi Linda, yes, they are beautiful, and yes, I can see faces as well. The colours here are quite vibrant, well done
