[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of my favorites -- I just love all the red. Taken using a 50mm macro lens in Phoenix, Arizona. Just increased contrast a teeny bit, sharpened and removed noise. Colors unedited.

Vivid colors and sharpness are great...Maybe the center of the flower (claret red area) could not be cropped. However, I like that...

Perfection in red contrast aand composition.

I just love the vivid reds in this photo. Excellent detail and DOF. If you look closer, you can see a black ant. If I have to nitpick, it would be the the white background on the left of the photo. It would definitely make it perfect if it's green as well.

nice and colourful - a happy photo. i really like it :-) one thing, though, is that its a little harsh on the eyes - brightness very powerful. i don't know if its just because i'm viewing it on a late night, but some people might have an issue with this. otherwise its a nice capture. cheers,
