Hi Rob,
Nice macro. Good use of the ambient light and the narrow deep of field. I think that it would have been more pertinent if the focus would have been made on the pistil of the flower instead of the top petal. But it is still beautiful. TFS.

Good good good photo.
Color and the sharpness are excellent.
The creator of the nature must have been super minded to create all that, normally with a human eye we can't see those details that sometimes camera show us as an example your photo...

Hi Rob,

Beautiful image.

You may set f/11 or 16, you have sufficient speed 1/1000 for 230mm focal length, so it still get blurred BG. By doing this, you get sharp image for almost whole flower.

I like the way you compose it. Lovely flower in blurred BG.
