[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the view from the "Scenic Overlook" in Eagan, MN. It is perched just above the Minnesota River valley on the path to runway 30L of MSP International Airport. While I wish it was more sharp, I did as best I could considering we had 25 mph winds with gusts of up to 60 mph and my telephoto was maxed out to 300mm. Severe storms were in the process of passing literally a half mile to the south so I lucked out with no rain and got a spectacular sunset! Enjoy!

Used a polarizing filter and adjusted levels, contrast and saturation in PS.

Nice concept but just too far away.

Very nice capture, a bit too far but anyway I love to watch aircrafts, especially 747:)
And that sunset make this picture a nice combo.
Well done:)

hi, jeremy
stubbornness is good, very good. I don't let things go if I want them to stay, too.
fine picture. the processing is not quite good, but the moment is worthy. thanks
max zoom is not a choice, anyway... maybe good to know.

Hi Jeremy,

Love this shot, coudl do with a bit of USM.

Regards

Fara

Hi Jeremy,
Nice dusk photo!
I really like the crop, the slight frame, the plane above the trees and the lights of that building. But the best is the unusually coloured sky, that makes the photo interesting.
TFS!
Best wishes,
Marci

Hi Jeremy,
You've managed to capture a very difficult shot quite well. First the lighting at that time is difficult, then to capture the plane whilst in the midst of winds and distance-- you've done a nice job. TFS Julie

hypocrisy?
Hard to believe that someone could hold his chin up after saying that about your photo, and then having this in his gallery. I like this moody shot, the colors are great and this is an unusual shot of a plane flying into the sunset. Nicely done,
Scott

brilliant colours and action captured here too Jeremy :)
Again I like the panoramic format.

Best regards, Daniel

Yes, here I can read the poetry of the end of a journey. Time is a human semplification while this sunset makes me think...
