Nothing Special

Just a photo I like. For the last year and a half I thought this tree in the front yard of where I live was dead, killed by Hurricane Katrina. It was barren of leaves and didn't bloom at all last year. Suddenly about a month ago it came to life, producing flora and foilage that I find quite beautiful. Like I said, "Just a photo I like, nothing special".

I had one of these trees in my yard as a child. Mother called it a mimosa tree. They produce these seed beens in the summer and we would string them and make necklaces, or pretend we were making coffee! I love the soft pink blooms! Mother's tree has long since died, replaced by 5 crepe myrtles, one for each member of the family!
Nice shot and I'm glad the tree made it!
