Very good detail and bright color. the two little shadows add to the shot as well.

Heh, the nails seem to be "looking" at something to the left that we cannot see, makes one curious. I love how close-up and direct the point of view is, combined with the use of warm natural sidelighting, really makes the textures and contours of the worn wood and nails pop out. Excellen dark background shown at the right for contrast and for the shallow DOF. In fact, the out-of-focus background itself is interesting enough to look at alone because of the contrasts and colors and shapes within it, which makes the overall shot more dynamic. Great colors and tones and excellent clarity and detail. I might recommend perhaps selecting the subtle shadows on the painted wood with the magic wand tool and making them a little darker since they are so light in comparison to the dark tones and shades at the right side of the shot. Wonderful framing that fits the thirds rule with a strong composition. TFS!
