They do look like fresh water pearls. It is trying to turn itself around.
Glad you posted the setting because I'm wondering about the ISO-400. You had plenty of shutter speed and f-stop - consider in these situation using the lowest ISO possible.
The workshop that Sancha posted does improve upon the presentation but may not be true to the image.
