[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I think the past few months I've been away more than I've been home. Luckily my dogs love their place away from home!
I spent a week in Vermont, home for 5 days then to Mrtle Beach, home for a week now Monday I'm meeting my husband on his ship for a shot trip til Saturday.
I've taken many photos but haven't had time to really check them out yet.

This one was taken in Mrytle Beach, we were heading to Pier 14 for dinner. I HIGHLY recommend it. Awesome food and their is live intertainment evernight and great too! I love going to the beach at night its so peaceful ...great to walk along barefood in the sand......the smell of the salt air, and the Ocean Breeze....mmm yes....can't wait to go back in August!

Thanks for visiting my gallery and your comments on my photos.

Hi Donna,
Nice flowers. I wish you had used a smaller f-stop and got more of the BG in focus. The beach would have made the picture even better.
Sunil

Hi Donna,

I like the composition of lovely flower in its habitat, which mostly around the beach. I love to spend holiday on the beach, lots of spots for photography.
You captured very well with blurred BG. Well done my friend.

Tjutjut

Hi Donna,

I'm happy with the flowers, since it's quite a grey day in the background. Yeah, I agree that a slight bit more depth of focus would have been nice. But the greens and reds of the flowers contrast nicely with your background.

Greetings,
Dennis

Hello Donna,
Lovely flowers!
The glimpse to the background gives a feeling of the atmosphere, the image is well composed and with fine balance between elements...
Moody colours!

Nice shot, love the idea of the beach being a backdrop for the flowers.

OK Donna:
This post tell me that you were concentrating more on your dinner than this capture:)
Excellent composition and like the soft focus on the ocean, need a bit more saturation/contrast though:)

David

Hi Donna, I can't say I have seen an Oleander that close to the beach anywhere in Australia. Lovely composition, good focus and excellent foreground detail. TFS,
David
