We visited Zoo Atlanta yesterday which is right downtown near the Turner Field baseball stadium. One of the highlights of the zoo for me was this Milky Eagle Owl. He is the star of their Wildlife Theater. He did some spectacular flying for us!
I have posted a closeup of him on TrekNature here.
Tracking a moving object while looking through a viewfinder takes some getting used to. He flew three times and I was able to catch him every time, but I think a pretty good bit of luck was involved.
Hope you enjoy the owl,
Reid |

merhaba myfriend Reid;
verynice cap..and super colors...selamlar
Well the eyes are probably the detail who impress me much if that bird! What an expression! Almost metallic reflection like robotic i saw in sci-fi movies :)I look at TN!
Here i see 2 good picture opportunity... You respect the sign of the place and it's well... colorful... And the line with shadow give a great style...
Cropping to remove that sign make immediately an impression of most isolate place.. But i see both way very nice :)

Reid you have his body nice and clear but just a bit more shutter speed would have worked better on the wings. Impossible to guess at in the heat of the moment. You "done good" on this one my man.
Been out of the area and away form the computer but I've returned.
