This is in Barnesville in the heart of central Georgia. Lamar County.
This remarkable house is an example of a Historic Preservation project underway to restore and preserve some of the amazing houses and stores in the area.
Barnesville, population 6000, is located 55 miles south of Atlanta. Founded in the early 1800s it prides itself on being "A great place to live, work, and raise families". It is home to Gordon College.
In mid September of each year they have their Buggy Days festival as a celebration of their heritage. One of the key events is a parade. "Our parade features buggies, floats, more than 250 horses and a host of civic groups."
We enjoyed visiting Barnesville yesterday, and I hope you enjoy the photo.

Hi Reid,
This type of building reminds me of old-fashioned soap-series on TV.
The image has good colors and is very sharp, however, part of its roof is lost ... so it's wet inside. ;-)

Nice capture my friend - this is were it is at - rural America - Love it - great detail. Kinda would have liked to see the rest of the front yard, but that's just me.
