This is a bird as seen sitting on the branch in the Lied Jungle at Henry Doorly zoo. I'm not sure what type of bird it is! So please enlighten me.

he's pretty. i love the vivid colors down the back. no idea what kind of bird he is either. i like how he's kinda peeking over his shoulder. would have liked it if whatever that is in the right corner wasn't cutting off part of him, but thats just how it is sometimes. thanks for sharing

Can't help you with the name, Derrick, but it looks like a kind of pigeon. Sharpness and DoF are ok, the large aperture (f2.8) helped getting that effect. Nice colours on the bird, but next time, ask it to sit with its front towards you ;o)).
