Hi James,
Another awesome photo with just the perfect technique. I really love your low POV and the silky texture of the water. I would love to have such a piece of nature close to my home. I do get the feeling behind this photo and can imagine the feel it brought to you when taking it. I call it being in the zone and you know you got a winner on hand when you are there.

Niek

Hi,
I love your picture...and I know how hard it is to get such results. IMHO it's a little too dark, maybe a bit of PP would help. Water should be light and for me it feels heavy.
Keep doing like this mate!!!

Fantastic nature shot!
I love the brilliant colours, and your composition works very well. The exposure length and light handling are what really make this a great pic.
Well done!
Congratulations, Greet

Hi James,
Nice to see another addition of your waterfall and river series. This is one of the best so far to date. I have one question though, how on Earth did you do it with 26 seconds exposure? Man, i tried it with my DSC H-1 using only 1 sec exposure and the whole stuff got overexposed. ;)lol..have a nice day.

Another fantastic one James !
the near monochromatic feel looks brilliant.
Excellent effort getting 26 seconds here (ND4 AND ND8).
Great idea using a remote shutter release as well (I use one too :-))
Well done.
Best regards, Daniel

Rich and sumptuous greens and that wonderful silky water effect - photographing waterfalls is definately something you have a knack for. Great stuff!
Thanks for sharing

James,
Standing in the river - always a good place to be.
This is a fine shot, the way the rocks receed on the left of frame is particularly nice - good shapes, light and shadow and good detail too - and hey! I just realised, A DSC R1 - don't see too many of those about - but I'm very familiar with standing in rivers with one of these beasts - great machine for this sort of thing, of course, due to the top mounted screen - but you know that!
Regards
Colin
