Not only is the universe stranger than we imagine, it is stranger than we can imagine. Sir Arthur Eddington.

From the images in the small sphere, can you guess what those photos depict? If I were to tell you that they are different views of a radio & you’ve never heard a radio or Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy,” could you imagine what the music would sound like? And If I gave each of you a small but different image like these and told you to take them to several different primitive cultures that have never heard of radios & Beethoven, could you all describe a radio & “Ode to Joy” to these people so that each culture understands it the exact same way?

Every so often a being comes to enlighten us on the nature of reality & the universe, and explains it in terms relating to our culture so we can understand it. We then go to war with each other because we believe our view of the universe & the Creator is the only view, when in fact, they are all different views of the same thing.

(I haven't had a chance to comment lately, as I've been on jury duty for the past two weeks. I came home one day to discover that my family had supprised me by moving my office - with the computers - to a room that didn't have a phone line. I just crawled under the house to finally install a new line.)

Hello Chuck,

This is good experiment and PP done here.
Creative, sharp, wonderful colors. TFS

Vandana

SURPRISE!!...haha! Wonderful pp work here! And yes, we see this problem in the "forums" all the time. One person says one thing, another says another...before you know it...they are talking about the SAME THING, they just view it differently! Excellent pp work Chuck, you are the PP master!
B-)

Mmm... philosophically I have to disagree with you, Chuck... One can't really compare music (a physical thing) with religion (an abstract thing). Their futile similarity is that they're human 'products'. And they do tend to have people who enjoy them, and people that will fight to make it stop...
As for your digital creation: I love it, though I really can't explain why...

I do not think that any primitive culture could explain the jewish sign in the small sphere...I do not understand your allusion.Beethoven was german.I am a bit lost here and I do not even belong to a primitive culture. The picture itself or should I say this artwork is very well done. The colors and textures are awesome!

Nice image, I can recognize a resistor and PCB tracks fro the good old times of through-hole technology, long gone now. And of course, I like the way you intertwined the religious symbols. You certainly are up to a controversial theme here, and unfortunately one that it is usually not considered open to discussion. Because if you start to discus it, pretty soon you get to the quite wacky foundations.
I can see four religions in your symbol, are there more represented that I did not discern?
Regards,
Tibi

mmmmm, interesting, thought provoking and superbly done, as usual, thanx, M, (*_*)

Inspiring artwork (you got me back into the studio - for the past few days). Love the riddle in your note. Lets toss radios blaring ode to joy over cargo-culture areas. They will never forget you!
Cheers
Otto
