[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sardine fisherman at the end of the San Clemente pier. The long pier has been since its construction in 1928 a landmark of the Orange County coastline, roughly midway between Los Angeles and San Diego. The pier offers free fishing and this youngster was rather successful, generously offering his catch consisting of foot long sardines at no cost to other, less skilled or fortunate fisherman. I found that standing for a few hours in the blazing California sun is, despite the breeze, quite a feat.
I would like to know if you prefer this color version or the black and white version posted as a workshop.
