[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Although not yet ready to be presented at the table as pictured here, these frozen Alaskan king crab legs were scrumptious once steamed, cracked open, and served with melted butter. Holden Beach is a shrimping area, and we had hoped to enjoy its bounty this year, but the week we were there wasn't a banner week for the shrimpers. We went in search of other seafood to satisfy our craving, and found this frozen delicacy.

PP work--just a crop, slight saturation and contrast boost, frame, resize and sharpen for TL.

Hi Karen

Looks delicious! Good use of repetition in the tightly framed composition, with excellent sharpness & colour. Tfs!

Lovely shot. Now I'm really hungry! All I had for dinner was a bp & J sandwich!

Hello Karen,
Good repetition effect and attractive colours!
The frozen look is well captured, good details in the crab parts...
Well framed, and original image!
Greetings,
Pablo -

:-) OK-

Strong picture in mood and sharpness.
Theme for Hollywood triller :-)
Well composed and presented. TFS.
Rob

LOve the colours Karen and very good detail. Nicely composed and well presented. I once loved seafood but a bad batch of oysters many years ago has given me an allergy to some shellfish, crabs being one of them. TFS,
David

Hi Karen
I like how you show us this yummy dish...
I love the colors... and the title is just terrific! Also the frame is just wonderful

Tricia

It all looks 'ship shape'
But reading these are the Alsakian ones ..I say.. oh boy..
On Discovery Channel I have watched a documentary of the men ''catching'' these ingredients to end in a ''Haute Cuisine''
dinner.. Well one is for sure..
I would rather be an Abbot of a monastery/nunnery than go to the Barentz Sea and catch Treklens a few (*__*)
Karen, welldone on this good photo.
John

ps
The Cheassapeak.. there is this island with the wild horses nearby you ..
Do you have ever been there? have photo's of that?
Must be a little like the wild horses I have seen often!! in the Sth of France .. a wild area called :
The Camargue

nice....tfs

HI Karen,
I'm not a crab meat lover, a bit crabby at times maybe but...lol. This looks very nice...very eye catching, good color saturation, excellant details and lighting and composed very well. I really like this!

Thanks,
Lyndon
