Morning All

This was taken back in June at around 15 minutes before sunset, the small version you can see here is just a crop of the larger version then resharpened.

PP Cropped, resized, saturation boost, levels boost, small amount of neat image, resharpened and title/border added.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Dean
Congratulations on a fine composition. Beautiful colouring and lighting. I am also impressed with your PP work, the framing is superb. I would have liked a larger image though, seems a little too shrunken for TL posting to fully appreciate its finer details. Great photo though. Congrats. TFS.

This is absolutely (cant swear on here) awesome

Fantastic colours and so much detail. Maybe in future I wont dream to travel, you can go and bring us all back the images.

Wonderful work and well worth waiting for the larger posting.

TFS have a good weekend

Hello Dean.
Impressive rock and great presentation. Wonderful details captured. The light is excellent and gives great colors and contrast to the picture.

Great capture of this rock formation Dean, beautiful warm colours and a complimentary sky.. I'm not sure why you have left so much empty space both sides of the frame where you could have shown higher detail, nevertheless it is very impressive, thanks

great colours and details

Hi Dean,

Impressive. I know it's hard to get all detail in the large view of 400 Kb, but you managed very well! The colours are wonderful, the sky spot on. All detail in the rocks is great. The little off-center placement of the main rock is very well choosen as well. Nice shot!!

Have a good weekend,
Dennis

Stunning geology captured very well.
I have a question please.
Your PP workflow says you crop and then resize. Does that mean you resize to 800 pixels right away and then do the rest of the boosts with an 800 pixel wide image. I'm jsut trying to improve my workflow. Thank you in advance. Karin

Hi Dean,
You need to get this printed on A2 size paper and frame it. This is just awesome. The way the warm sunlight saturated the red rock and off set it to the cool blue sky is perfect.
Just love the composition and the details. I have to add this to my fav's

Dean,
Excellent LP!!! The use of light was perfect and the blue really brought out some contrast between the rock and the sky. I have had problems with posting a LP night shot that I really like.
Now that I've seen this one, I don't like mine as much.
Great work here Dean, it "Rocks"!
Scott

Lovely image Dean, the contrast of the red rock against the blue sky is fantastic! Bully for you for going somewhere a little bizarre like Arizona. I'd imagine it's a bit like going to the moon. The Grand Canyon is one of the most fantastic things I've seen in my life.

Well seen, thanks for sharing!

Alli

Hi Dean,

Beautiful capture here. Excellent lighting and exposure that brings out the colors and beauty of Sedona.
